PCN Security Reparations at Vale’s General Offices

BESTECH's project for Vale involved the engineering design and drawing preparation for electrical, automation, and communications systems to enhance PCN security. Our team focused on integrating the controls into the FLEX I/O system and constructing network racks with lockable cabinets, improving both the security and functionality of Vale’s network systems.

Vale required comprehensive engineering design and drawing preparation for electrical, automation, and communications systems as part of the PCN (Process Control Network) security reparations project. The goal was to review and enhance the security and reliability of the network architecture and ensure the physical security of critical network equipment.

BESTECH undertook the challenge, providing not only the engineering design but also handling project management, construction management, commissioning management, and documentation. Our team focused on modifications to the process network architecture to create a secure, reliable, and redundant system for process data collection. Additionally, we integrated hardware and software to monitor the operational status of the network infrastructure.
